The New Zealand Cricket Museum has teamed up with talented Wellington artist, Bo Moore, to produce a series of A3 posters that re-imagine the programme covers from some of our most famous cricket matches.
In early 1930, the MCC toured to New Zealand representing England to play the home side’s first Test matches. After a poor showing in the first Test at Lancaster Park, the New Zealanders rebounded for a fighting draw – marked by centuries to Stewie Dempster and Jackie Mills – in Wellington.
This poster commemorates that Test, the first at the Basin Reserve.
Poster is sent in a cardboard tube.
