Harry Graham was “fearless and free … it can honestly be said that he was entitled to be ranked amongst the star batsmen of the world”.

The question to perhaps ask and ponder is: What happened to Harry Graham? He was gifted as a cricketer and Australian Rules footballer.

Harry Graham – The Little Dasher looks at Graham’s life in depth both on and off the cricket field. His early days as a promising cricketer and footballer are examined along with his club and representative career in Australia and New Zealand in the 1890s and 1900s.

Fame can be death to some people. Harry Graham is an example. The issues of life were great and his tragic death at Seacliff Mental Hospital in 1911 was a far cry from the cricket life of this extremely gifted sportsman.
