Name/TitleProgramme: Otago v Australia, Dunedin, 1946
About this objectAfter innings' victories over Auckland and Canterbury in the first two matches of their 1946 tour, the visiting Australian cricket side travelled to Dunedin to take on Walter Hadlee and Otago.
Otago would put up more of fight than their provincial cousins, largely thanks to Hadlee's brilliant 196 in the second innings. However, the powerful Australian batting lineup saw off the challenge to win by 8 wickets.
This programme features profiles on the players in each team, a partially-filled out scorecard from the match, notes on cricket statistics, an account of the LBW law, and a photo of the Otago First-Class side that played Canterbury in February 1946.
