About this objectThe Central District's side for their 1952-53 Plunket Shield match against Cantebury. Played at Christchurch's Lancaster Park in January 1953, the match finished as a draw with Central Districts just 24 runs short of victory when time ran out.
The match was notable for two players hitting a century and a fifty: Gordon Leggat (Canterbury, 166 & 63 - run out in each innings) and Lawrie Miller (Central Districts 128* & 89*).
